Hi Bees! This is my first post! I am hoping that some of you plus sized brides can help me out with finding shapewear to wear with my strapless lace gown. I am a street size 16-18 and wearing a size 18 wedding dress. Although I am plus size I have small breasts for my size. I honestly don’t even know what my actual bra size is because I always wear bra’s that add a few cup sizes. 🙁 So, I need shapewear that is going to suck in stomach but at the same time give me the option to wear my own strapless so I can add “cutlets” so my boobs look as big as I pretend they are on a daily basis!
Hoping you all can help me! Thank you for any suggestions!

I’d go with a Spanx power panty kind of thing. Comes up to just under your bra, so you could wear your own.
Like this or this
But, I still suggest looking into a bustier/long line. Most are done by regular bra sizing. I wear a 38 band, and when you wear a larger band, it also assumes the tummy part might be a bit wider. So, if you were say a 38B, you could get a 38 C, and put your cutlet in.

Timeless Trends sells their corsets by cupsize. Most bustiers do too.

@SoontobeMrsBartz: You could try an underbust corset. Here’s a pic of one I just purchased

here’s the link, http://www.ebay.com/itm/220879100744?var=520058058640&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_1971wt_1158
I think it cost less than $18 and ships free and is a U.S. seller on eBay. If you choose do something like this make sure you measure your waist, then follow their sizing chart and order the one for your size waist. It also lifts up the boobs a bit too.

Spanx that come just under the bust! And then chunk up your girls with your choice of bra. Uber comfy and efficient 🙂

@SoontobeMrsBartz: Just to add a thought I saw on the boards last nite while “researching” (avoiding any actual planning work) that there’s a company called Rago — which made me think of sketti so it stuck as a good alternative to a spanx that didn’t roll down or poke or anything and the girl posting looked AWESOME with her own long line bra on top (so you could use your own too!)… I also recall her sharing that the sizing chart was pretty spot on.. hope this helps!
I think I saved the link to the company – http://www.rago-shapewear.com/catalog/home.php?cat=249
