@codahlia:  I vote photobooth, at least that’s what I did!  It was a hit with the guests and so. Much fun πŸ™‚

I voted videographer. I had a photobooth at my wedding and it was great and the pics are hilarious. but now that the wedding is over and done with I really regret not getting a videographer. I wish someone had told me to get one πŸ™ our photos are amazing and tell a great story but I would love to be able to watch our wedding on dvd to remind myself how magical the day was πŸ™‚

Do you have an iPad and a tripod?

If you do, you can set up your own photobooth.

What inspired me to look into an iPad for a photo/video booth was watching a Weather Channel Network anchor interviewing someone live using an iPad mounted on a tripod, a microphone attached to the headphone jack of the iPad.

I just don’t know what apps to use though! I created a thread asking for apps suggestion last week. I’m still looking for an app for video booth.

Photobooth = more fun for 1 day

Videographer = memories for a lifetime

@codahlia:  I voted for the photobooth because I always feel silly around videographers.  As a wedding guest when the videographer turns the camera on me I turn instantly stiff and awkward.  Don’t want to spend my wedding day like that πŸ˜‰  Plus I feel like I’d be overly critical of the video, photos get retouched (thank God).

@codahlia:  You’re welcome! My venue is kinda far away from major cities, which makes it quite impossible to have one.

If you find a video booth app, please be sure to let me know! πŸ™‚

Definitely a videographer b/c you can look back at the footage. I think a photobooth is just so guests can have fun and something to do during downtime. I personally won’t be spending $ on one b/c I prefer a videographer. My friend had a photobooth and it came with a photo album of her guests dressed up in costumes. Personal preference.

Do you really want your guests hanging around the photo booth while the DJ is trying to get them on the dance floor?

We didn’t have a videographer, and to this day, when people ask me what I missed at our wedding and would do differently, videography would be it!  That being said, we didn’t have a photobooth either.
