Has anybody bought from lightinthebox.com? Have you used a coupon code there before? I tried to use a coupon code and didn’t change my grand total… so i went on the live chat…and the person says that i will have to apply the coupon in, and once i click “place your order” … it will automatically change the amt…
I DONT KNOW, IT SEEMED SKEPTICAL TO ME… why could not i see the change in my grand total if i already applied the coupon? it does not make sense that i gotta place my order first BEFORE seeing the new discounted price!
CAN SOMEONE PLS HELP? THANKS!

Well…it is a knockoff dress site based in China. Do you really expect everything to work perfectly like a legit US business would? It isn’t like ordering from J. Crew… (BTW you double posted this)

Light in the box is cool. They make knock off dresses. Personally, I don’t find anything wrong with it. You get the same dress for a whole lot less. I never tried to use a coupon on their site though, so I don’t know how it work but I heard the dresses are made pretty good. I bought my dress from Big Day Dress.com (something similar to lightinthebox). Best investment I made towards this wedding so far. As for the coupon issue, I don’t know what to tell you.

@crayfish: Well… that’s why I was asking if anybody had used a coupon code there before…and if it’s really suppose to work THAT way – where you type the code in …. PLACEe the order…and then see the new total amt. because i’ve never seen a site that has that kind of process before… US and even the ones from China.
and yes I realized I double posted… don’t know how to delete the previous one though…

I can’t offer any direct advice regarding coupons on the website but I have to say be very skeptical and careful. I have read that a lot of girls have had trouble with those Chinese replica websites/manufacturers in the past.
