I’m brand new here, and this is my first post! I thought this would be the best resource to do so…
I’m currently living in Seattle with dear Fiance, but we’re hoping to have our wedding in my hometown of Toronto, Ontario!
I need some advice…I’m starting to look at venues and I’m incredibly overwhelmed–I don’t even know where to start, and planning from afar is just making it more difficult. We want to marry in March, but do not want a typcal church wedding. Can anyone suggest any indoor (knowing Toronto, and March) places where we could have an interesting/unique ceremony?
Thanks in advance, and I greatly appreciate any suggestions/advice you might have.

Thanks for the advice! The galleries in the distillery district look great, and the Eglinton Grand is fantastic.

The Steamwhistle round house would also be very cool:
We were originally looking in Toronto and yeah – so overwhelming! It might help if you narrow it down to whether you want to deal with a seperate venue/caterer or if you prefer they are one and the same. And set a price per plate – that will shorten your list right from the get go! Good luck!

Wow, these venues are amazing. I haven’t even heard of some of these.
I appreciate all your help–now it’s time to do some research and narrow it down 🙂

Steamwhistle is where I booked. Like the venue and what you can do with it with some creative decor to make it really unique!

I am having my ceremony and reception at the Argonaut Rowing Club. I think max capacity is 200. The rental fee is super low (less than $1500, plus bar costs) and it overlooks the lake. Lynn the banquet manager is wonderful to work with.
