I didn’t register with BB&B, but I did with Target and Macy’s. Both stores told me it’s best to establish your registry IN STORES first. Then you can always log in online and add items. They say if you start it online first, then it creats complications… I dunno. I just went to the store first though.

We just registered at BB&B yesterday! It was a lot of fun. There is no “difference” as they are one and the same – however, it’s much better to go in the store. You talk to the consultant, they set up your account for you, give you great checklists and ideas, you get a box of magazines and pamphlets and someone checks in with you every so often to make sure you guys are doing well. Then you can log on and delete or add items online as you wish. It was great! I’m excited about ours, can you tell? Lol. Plus…the scanner gun kept Fiance entertained, and seeing things in person helped me to be more decisive. 🙂

I have been wondering if the people at BB&B get commission? (which would explain why they want you to start in THEIR store instead of online! and why they are so dang pushy…)

But Fiance and I couldn’t figure out how that would work…like they get commission off it once it’s bought? Or just if it’s put on there? (we were also quite annoyed when we looked at our list after the first time we went to BB&B, and discovered that the girl who had “helped” us had added things to our china as well as doubling the amount of towels we had registered for! If she DID get commission…then that is just…immoral!) Anyone know?

@red_rose: Hm I have no idea. We didn’t do china, but we also didn’t have them go with us around the store. They asked, but we declined and did it by ourselves, so I didn’t really find them pushy at all. No idea about the commission thing, but I don’t know how that would work anyways. Lol
