    Could you have a simple satin sash sewn to the front of the dress and simply end at the zipper on the back? rRather than having a bow and trailing ribbons . . . That would get you the best of both worlds.

    I personally like the sash because it adds a cute detail to the back and breaks up the full front of lace and accentuates your tiny waist

    @weddinginmay14:  hello dress  twin! I vote for a sash as it adds a nice Little extra to the dress. I love the Little bow and trailing ribbons, but if you don’t, you could always get it sewn onto the dress. There is another thread on here with a bee who got the sash sewn onto the dress. Just search for mori lee 1862.
