@pjai80:i could be wrong, but that material looks like satin.  i have been looking at sooo many types of fabrics these past few month, i feel like a seamstress. ๐Ÿ™‚   just picked up our girls dresses today.  tafetta is shiny but it does not lie that flat.  you should try a matte satin.  has a lil sheen but not as much as above.  organza is very sheer so you would have to have a thick lining and shinier than satin and tafetta.  chiffon is very flowy.  i think you could pull this off in chiffon.  not shiny at all, but very pretty.

If you don’t want it to be shiny that organza is what you should go with, however they usually put another material under it.

Pretty dress!  Silk Georgette would have a nice cling and flow w/o having too much shine, but it will tell your every last body secret.

I would go organza or chiffon because it’s going to be hot and those are nice, light materials.  Satin tends to be heavy.

Chiffon would be really nice for a beach wedding.  Light, soft, and flowy.
