@Runnergirl47:  I would send it, it’s not the invite. She has plenty of time to plan to come and it doesn’t sound last minute. Plus save the dates could be used for out of towners. So all of the guest list may not receive one anyways. I think it will be just fine. Or don’t send her one and just send the invite with everyone else.

@Runnergirl47:  I would send them out with the rest of the invites.  I would be really careful about inviting more people in case the family of 5 changes their mind.

I would NOT send her a save the date if you are having to be strick on your numbers.  Everyone who receives a save the date must receive an invitation, but not everyone who receives an invitation has to have received a save the date.  What happens if that family of 5 can suddenly make it?  If she asks, tell her that you are tight on numbers & that as soon as you have received confirmation that some guests can’t come, she will be the first to know.
