For me bigger isn’t alway better, I personally would go for the IF as it will have more value and hold it’s value better. Not to mention it will sparkle more because there are far less inclusions to get in the way. Just my own personal preference, but ultimately it is what you like the best. I also forgot to mention I have a .82 K color VVS1 marquise GIA certified and I love it. I know marquise isn’t for everyone and mine is a little thinner as opposed to fatter, but it is beautiful. I thought I would show you this so you could see the color.

thank you, this is super helpful! And wow, it looks really white! So pretty.
I ended up going with a 1.04 K VVS1. It looks gorgeous, can’t wait to see it in real life.
Glad I went smaller than the 1.38ct as it turns out that it would have been WAY too big with the halo I wanted, I misjudged my measurements lol.
So excited! Absolutely adore marquise stones

Have you got a pic/video of the one you chose?

I have a screenshot, but can’t remember how to post images as it’s been ages, is there a link to a dummies guide lol?

In the comment box there is a panel of options across the top. There are two picture icons that say “basic” and “advanced” next to them. You can upload photos by selecting one of those icons.

thank you! Here is the video:
What do you think?
Bit nervous as I can’t see it in real life because of COVID, so hoping there isn’t too much bow tie and it looks sparkly.
ETA: realised I don’t have a still image, was about to get one but couldn’t as the company bought it for me and it disappeared off the website I was looking at
