I have bought a Maggie Sotter Primavera dress. It is my dream dress!!! I absolutely love it. The only thing is, that it has such a long train, and i’m scared that it will get stepped on the entire night. I want to take the train away completly. Does anyone know if it can be done???

You can just get it bustled for the reception that way no one will step on it

@VN7: Won’t consider bustling it? I had a longer train, and my Darling Husband and Maid/Matron of Honor helped me with it while taking pictures and then we bustled it for the reception. No problems.

What about getting a bustle done? Not sure if I said that correctly, but that’ll fix the issue! Unless you just want to get it completely off, than go for it!

I agree with bells, you should not take it away completely–that might change the whole look of the dress. Instead get a bustle done, which is basically where an alterations specialist will install a few hooks or buttons to pin your dress up when you need it up. It shouldn’t cost more than 30-40$.
