Like mentioned above take fabric swatches of both colors to compare to the shirts, flower girls, etc.. Also, there are different ivories, with more of a yellowish golden tone, if it’s lighter than that I think you’re fine. The colors you mentioned with the peacock accents (which sounds very nice by the way) sound like they would go better with ivory too.

Go with ivory! All of the tux places we’ve been to so far have offered ivory shirts for the guys!

I think ivory is more flattering for most people and I would not in a million years worry about my dress matching the guys’ dress shirts! Your dress is about making you look amazing, not coordinating with everyone else.

I am too am blonde and fair, and white dresses didn’t look nearly as good on me as ivory ones did. Go for the ivory.
I also had the same thoughts about matching the men’s shirts, but decided that they should go with white shirts rather than ivory. Totally looked better than if we had matched!
We did have ivory table cloths, but I don’t think anyone would notice if you had white ones.

I wore an ivory gown and the men wore white shirts, and you don’t notice the difference at all in the pictures. If you love the dress in ivory, go for it.

Mine was ivory and it didn’t look dirty against white linens. Actually, the linens made the color of it pop more!

wow you sound like me! i agonized for an entire day before i bought my dress over whether i should buy ivory or white. ultimately, i went back to the bridal store and asked the saleswoman to bring me a white dress to hold up in front of me and compare to my skin (i had the ivory dress on). i ended up liking the ivory due to the fact that it brought out warm tones in my skin (i’m also fair and PINK!). the white made me look like i had rosacea, which is not how i want to look on my wedding day! i knew immediately that i should buy the ivory dress!
i would go back to the store try on the dress that you want to buy and ask the salesperson to bring you a dress that is white so you can hold up and then compare the two to your skin tone in the light! hope that helps!
