I like the gap.  it shows that it’s two distinct rings, instead of a ring with a really wide shank.  some people prefer the rings to sit flush, to each their own.  and if you want to ever wear the wedding band on its own, can’t do that if it’s soldered.

Stunning ring! I personally like it flush, though. Go with your gut!

I like the look of the gap, but I personally can’t stand a gap on my own finger. Weird how that works huh? Lol. I have small long fingers and I love mine soldered to keep them aligned and from spinning.

The gap LOOKS sparkly, but stuff will get snagged in it.

Repeatedly.

Bear that in mind, because if you gap-solder you’re going to be going back to the jewelry store for re-soldering from time to time.

I’m just not a fan of gaps in general.
