I don’t know if I have much advice, except to say that my SO is the same way only with beer.  I have given him literally everything on Earth that he could possibly like and after 7 birthdays, Christmases, Valentine’s Days and his 8th birthday with me coming up soon, I too am all tapped out of ideas!  SHIT!

What other hobbies does he have?  Does he like hiking, swimming, photography, cooking, tennis, etc.?  What could he possibly develop an interest in if given a little nudge?  Does he like beer/wine?  Making beer/wine is becoming very popular and I could help you find a kit for your man.

Rent him a Ferrari for the day! I just googled it, and they have one at Capital Dream Cars… maybe that and dinner so you can get all dolled up?

Maybe you could organize a guy’s day or night out?

I did this for Fiance on his birthday. I bought them all tickets to the car show and sent them on their way. I would have even made them reservation to a restaurant but FI’s mom had planned a surprise party for him.

We got a beer making kit for my brother a few years ago. You really are a good gift giver lol! We went skydiving for the hubs bday a few years ago. That was really awesome!! I agree, think of his hobbies and see if you can’t come up with something.

For our anniversary last year, we didn’t have a lot of money, so we went out to dinner and a really long bike ride along one of the biggest trails around. It was really nice

What about one of the month clubs? They have all sorts of things. Candy of the month, fruit of the month, beer of the month, etc.

@kittybean: How about a weekend at a B&B then? There are tons in our area that are very nice.

The Ferrari thing seems to have become your theme. What about taking a break from that, since I am sure he’s expecting it. What about packing a nice picnic and going to a nice little spot? Like maybe a park with a gazebo or something. You can even get kites for both of you and fly those.

first thing that came to mind for me would be to get him a gear shift knob for a ferrari– what he’ll hold onto in his future car?
