Dj Vin!  Without a doubt.  He is based in CT, but travels.  He is super professional and DJ’s in clubs, bars, etc.  He knows how to keep everybody on the dance floor and can cater to any type of music interests.

I am using Murray Hill Productions.  They have a large list of DJs all ranging in prices, so you’re sure to find someone in your price range

@ginandtonic: Glad your wedding went well with John! We met with him and loved him, his stlye seems way different than typical DJS, but he refuses to play any line dances. Which I know for most brides is a good thing, since they are on a lot of “do not playlists”, but it’s a tradition in my family to do the Cha Cha slide and Cotton Eyed Joe. He said he refused to play them.

For other brides- I think he would be awesome if your ok with no line dances, but if your like me and want them, it’s good to know this in advance. We drove down to RI to see him and I wish we knew it before the drive.

Oooh Pete From Beat Train Productions is really great.  He wasn’t my DJ (who was horrible so I definitely wouldn’t recommend him) but I attended a wedding that used BTP.  His MC skills were perfect and he was so friendly and really got the crowd going. I’ve been recommending him to everyone. =)

Any updated recommendations on DJs in or that will travel to CT?
