check out lanikuhonua (out door wedding space), but you’d have to get everything rented, but that allows you to customize everything.

I’m from the mainland and I am getting married at the Ihilani hotel, which is a jw marriot, so luxury hotel – all my guests will not be able to afford this hotel, so most are staying in waikiki and im providing them a shuttle bus to and from – this could be an option for you too.

good luck!

The Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach is great.  A good location on the beach too.  Chuck’s Steak House would be yummy for a welcome / rehearsal dinner—love the food and view!  With this hotel, since it is surrounded by many other hotels, your guests would have lots of options that would fit in their budget.  There are lots of things to keep your guests busy around there as well…International Market Place, beach, restaurants, etc.

The Hilton Hawaiian Village is a little further down and still close enough for guests to stay at other hotels if necessary and walk over to the wedding and to walk around the area to do activities.  In my opinion, the beach tends to not be quite as crowded here.  They have a gorgeous chapel for your ceremony as well.  There are lots of great places to take photos at this hotel.  Good restaurants and some shopping here too.

Check out the Sheraton hotels as well.  These are quite popular for destination weddings, but there tend to be a lot of weddings throughout the day there.  Very pretty hotels and central locations.

A neat rehearsal dinner restaurant is the Top of Waikiki.  It is a rotating restaurant so throughout the meal, you get a view of everything.  Their mango creme brulee and chocolate fondue are so good!

Best of luck to you!  There are lots of other options of private locations for a ceremony and reception on Oahu.  The ones I listed above will allow people to not have to rent a car if they stay in the Waikiki area.
