Michaels has a on of ribbon on sale for $1 (their “Christmas” ribbon that was NOT Christmassy) and you can always try the dollar tree or a dollar store.

I just love the look af the ribbon, by the way. I had never seen that idea until just now. It’s lovely! I guess you would have to figure out a way of sctually sticking it to the tablecloth though, or it will move and bunch up every time someone moves. That might be awfully hard on rented linen or using the linen that comes with the tables…

Have you tried a local florist? They have easy access to bolts of pretty much any width/color satin ribbon. I find the bolts in box stores just don’t have enough yardage so you end up spending way too much money. At a florist the bolts will more than likely have a ridiculous amount of ribbon so it probably ends up being a little cheaper/yd.

I bought 50 chair bows on ebay for about $30 and used them as runners in an X pattern. Wish I had steamed them!

I went to the dollar store and got mine today! 8 huge rolls, 2 bucks per roll!
