I humbly ask for your help. You helped me in my last post Help! Mystery Wedding Dress when I was lied to about the manufacturer of my dress by a salon who takes the tags out of the dresses. We proved it was a limited version dress by Private Label by G and NOT a 2BeBride.
Now, to help other brides I put my name on the line and was interviewed about my story by our local paper. Please consider taking a moment to read the article and comment about the legality of taking off manufacturers’s tags in bridal dresses.
The link to make your voice heard is:
Quirky tag rules turn bridal gowns into mysteries
I have attached my picture of the dress and a link to the Private Label web site in Canada so you can compare the dresses. Even though I recieved confirmation by PL by G the reporter said she could not confirm that it was a PL by G. I know you bees can tell!
and look at style number #12024 and compare it with the picture below!
Tell me here if you think its not the same two dresses?
Thanks in advance!

You have guts, good for you!!!!
btw did you check Winnie Couture Bridal? They have dresses similar to the one you like!
If those aren’t the same dresses, someone is really good at making knock-offs!
That’s totally the same dress OR it’s the best knock-off ever.

Just read the article – good for you for getting it out there HOWEVER the “New York City girl” comment was kind of lame. People in NYC have budgets, too.

Why did they lie to you about the maker?
And I agree, the 2 dresses look identical. You should post links to the photos in the comments section for the article.
Ditto on NYC girl comment !!

Here’re snapped photos from the website you linked 🙂
You did great in your interview! Thanks for standing up for what’s right — I hate that people get away with doing such unethical stuff…

i commented for ya. I too disagree with the NYC comment but whatevs, I get what you were saying there You should link that to the actual dressmaker and to 2Be Bride…

Thank you so much for the support and helping me not feel crazy about the dress!
Also, I offcially apologize for the NYC comment. It was was not IN ANY WAY meant to offend anyone.

I think it’s awesome that you had the guts to do blow the whistle on them! and that is definately the same dress or a damn good knock off!

Good job! I totally commented on your article. It’s not fair, it’s not ethical, and it certainly isn’t legal what that store did.

Leelee and Maisymay,
Thank you so much for your support!
Maisy- thanks for responding to the article. Your support makes me feel better about getting the word out! I never realized how much attention it would get, the negative and the positive.
