I would say stop thinking of food as taste and start thinking of it as fuel.

Who cares if what you’re eating at any given meal is what you prefer thet taste of? Eat what your body needs in order to function properly.

I made myself start eating spinach because, while I didn’t like the taste, I very much needed the iron and the vitamins (and pills are no substitute for getting your nutrition from food). Over time, my mind began associating spinach with feeling good, and now I like it.

Try what’s available. Go down the whole line of a salad bar and put a couple of each thing in the bowl (use a light dressing!). Make yourself eat each thing before you rule anything out. And then, whatever you liked best, or disliked least, eat again. Watch what other people eat and try things that are healthy that they like. You can do this. And you clearly already know that you should.

Gosh we sound like the same person lol I’m afraid I won’t be of much help!

I can’t handle too many textures (like chunky sauce/soup/tomatos with skin…)

The only advice I can give you is try, and try again. I have this super weird fear that if I try something that taste will be in my mouth FOREVER (completely irrational, I know but it really keeps me from trying new things!). It took me a long time to get used to yogurt and oatmeal. Now I love them and eat them daily. Same with bananas, couldn’t get over the texture but I kind of force myself to eat them.

Since you seem to like smooth textures why not try a smoothie machine or juicer? You can get tons of different recipes and certain flavors are stronger than others. You could add healthy stuff and may night even notice it.
