Ok I need some help which of these do you like better. They are different styles and there in lies the problem. My fiance and I like them both. My communication with both has been very comfortable, so again there in lies the other problem we seem to “gel” with both photographers. The difference in the pricing is allowing us to afford a videographer.
Michael and Carina
This is a husband and wife team who have just moved to the US from Germany. They are trying to get their name out there in a market that is saturated with talented photographers who do this for a living as well as a market saturated with newbies who are offering ridiculous prices, albeit their pictures reflect it.
This is what they are offering:
– two professional photographers, with professional equipment, covering your entire wedding (yes, full day coverage is included)
– all your best retouched high resolution pictures on a personalized DVD (with reproduction rights! so you can print them yourself)
– includes the VA sales tax already and travel cost to your VA location (travel fee will apply with out of state weddings)
– If you and your fiance would like, we throw in an engagement session (in Yorktown, Williamsburg, NN or Gloucester area) FOR FREE!
So, $1200 is really the ALL INCLUSIVE price!
Now when I told them I was not going to be meeting with them, they came back to throw in a free senior picture portrait session for my finance’s daughter which is roughly $99 for the session.
Comments from Carina:
However, please know that we would really love to photograph your wedding, and we could definitely throw in a portrait session for your daughter/stepdaughter for free. To us right now, it is not at all about a profit. It is literally about, as I said, getting our name out there and having a bit of money on the side to pay some bills (because at this rate, one wedding doesn’t pay for all of them, as you can imagine). To us, it’s about staying in America and following our dream. We’d still love to meet with you
