Love the ombre! Just “different” enough!
Love the ombre! Just “different” enough!
i think you should take mirra out of the running. it sounds like you have to make too many alterations and potential risk of things going wrong. not worth it. you already own 2 dresses, don’t throw a third into the mix.
as for the other two, if i am 100% honest… while the pronovias looks really good on you, i don’t think it’s as awesome as the mori lee. i don’t know what it is but the pronovias looks more… restrictive? maybe it’s just my personal bias against the true mermaid style. i just feel like dress #1 is much more formal… very glamorous and sexy, but formal, if that makes sense. i can’t really picture you dancing the night away in that dress, but you definitely look very graceful and pretty.
the mori lee, on the other hand, looks so much more fun and free. while it’s fitted around your hips, it flares a litter higher so doesn’t emphasize your hips/butt as much. it’s less sexy and figure hugging for sure but you look much more sassy and confident in it.
so i guess it depends on the look you are going for… but i think the fact that you bought the mori lee on impulse, even though you already had the other two options, seems significant to me.
#1 for sure! You look hot in all of them but I feel like 3 will be dated soon (the ombre effect) and 2 isn’t as flattering as the first.
I like #1 but maybe with a belt to add a little something special.
Wow!! I can’t believe the Piscis is winning by a land slide! Thanks so much for the votes, honest feedback and kind words.
I wish I could say this settles it, but…. As I was perusing the internet I stumbled upon another gown. Mori Lee Blu Style 5104. This dress looks very similar to the Vera Wang Gemma, which happens to be my dream wedding dress. It was the first dress I ever tried on and I fell in love with it. There were tears and everything, but I just couldnt afford it. When I saw the Mori Lee 5104 yesterday I was shocked at how similar it was in looks but different in price. What do you think of this one ladies??
@jeanniemarieaz: I think you need to stop looking lol. That first dress looks bangin on you. I’m sure this last and fourth dress you’ve posted would look great too. My suggestion since it looks so much like your dream grown is to sell the dress you bought at the bridal show and see if the salon where you bought your pronovias and see if they can get this 4th dress in for you to try on and then maybe she can offer you the same deal as before. But seriously… stop looking!
You look GREAT in all of them, but I like dress #1 the best!
Hmmm…. Anyone want to buy my Mori Lee 5101 Ombre gown?
Looks like the results are in, and the Pronovias Piscis stole the show. I have to be honest, I am totally surprised!!
I thought for sure that one the other two would take it, or that it would at least be a closer race.
I already started making arrangements to sell the Mori Lee (and I may already have a buyer!)
My Piscis still hasnt arrived so I am still not 100% that I want to keep it until I have tried it on again. At this point I am still unsure about it. I just cant shake the feeling that it doesnt look good on me or I dont look good in it rather. Sigh…. trying not to worry about it so much but I want to experience that “Oh my gosh I love my wedding dress” feeling that most brides have.
I think 1 looks best but I also live the Mori lee !!!
Ok. Soooo, the Mori Lee 5101 is officially out of the running. I have posted it for sale. Gorgeous dress, but just not me. Maybe if it was plain white or ivory.
So now, it is just between the La Sposa Mirra and the Pronovias Piscis. I am TRYING not to look anymore. I am waiting until my Piscis comes in and I have tried it on and know exactly what my options are if I decide I still don’t like it. By that time the Mirra may not even be available so who knows what will happen. Still stressing! Ahhh!
Hands down the 1st dress. But to be honest….you have such a great shape that you look equally stunning in both 1 and 2. I really think it boils down to your preference with the details on either BOOM when I saw you in it. Your shape stood out and you looked beautiful. Dress2 has a delicate feel to it but still fits incredibly well.
I just made a post last week about whether I should change my wedding dress. I originally bought a Pronovias sample sale gown. But last week I fell utterly in love with a Ysa Makino gown. It showed my shape more and just had that WOW factor I wanted. See the post here
