I’m a newbee so bear with me.
My Boyfriend or Best Friend and I have been together for a little over 5 years now. We are ready to take the next step so he asked that I pick out a ring that I would like.
I found a ring on amazon.com that I absolutely LOVE!! However, it was recently removed from the site with no info as to whether it will be available again. It was listed from a company called Chandni Jewelers. (I believe located in India) I have tried contacting the company with little success and since I don’t think I’ll be making a trip to India any time soon, does anyone know where else I could find it or something very similar.

Pretty design! I would recommend you talk to a local independent jeweler about getting a setting like that custom made for you.

A link to the Indian seller you mentioned is included here. Doesn’t seem like a super legit source though.
If you google the terms they use there “twist split shank engagement ring” you’ll come up with quite a few nice alternatives, including some from legit designers.

@MissNoodles: Yeah, I found that site when I was searching for other places that might offer the ring. It definitely didn’t look like a legit source to me either. When it was on amazon, it was listed from around $650 to $1,500 depending on the size of the center diamond, etc. The site I found for the jeweler in India is http://www.chandnijewellers.com but they don’t have very much listed on the site, so I’m not sure if it is acurate either. I’ve found several wonderful alternatives, I just haven’t been able to find one that has captured my heart quite like this one.

@joya_aspera: That’s kind of what I was thinking I would have to do but figured I’d see if anyone else might know where to find it first. 🙂

This is a little similar to the one I am getting from doamore dot com. You can get any shape/ size center diamond, or a moissanite. Their customer service has been wonderful so far! The neat thing about them is that each ring purchase gives two people in a third world country clean water for life.

@minniemluv: Thank you for the info, that’s a very cool site and the ring is beautiful.
