Well, they call it a trial for a reason! To be honest it does look dark. Could they maybe do a lip that colour with a natural eye, or a lighter lip with that eye. Lol, and no not EVERYONE likes a dark lip.

I would do a slightly lighter lip.

I snooped and saw your gorgeous champagne colored dress. Love it! I agree with PP though, that a lighter lip would look nice. Also, a bit more blush I think, would look great too.

I agree with FutureMrsAch: a bit more blush, and lighter lip.

i agree with pp on the lip colour.  also, i would like to see your eyes a bit brighter.  try a lighter highligher under the brow and keep the darker shades to the outer corners only.  your centre lid needs to be lightened up a bit too.

I think a slightly pinker, lighter lip, a bit more blending, and undereye concealer.

You are very pretty, and this does look good, just a tweak here and there!

@futuremrsbrunell:  blush doesn’t really show in pictures, so I think you’re okay there. I would go with a lighter, more natural lip color. Since you love your eyes and they pop out already with the color, I would tone down the lips.

@futuremrsbrunell:  BIG question, do you want to have to keep reapplying it all day? It’ll come off no matter what you put on it, and your Fiance probebly doesn’t want it all over him either.

You look STUNNING but you’d look more natural by keeping the eyes and going for a slightly glossy nude/pink lip color.

@futuremrsbrunell:  i think one of the biggest issues with the lips is that it is not from the same colour palette as the rest of your makeup.  this will really show up in photos and compete/clash with each other.  what colours are you having as your bm dresses, flowers, decor, etc?

If your dress is champagne I think without a doubt you need to try a more natural/dewy look.  The look she has given you would suit a stark white dress but may be too heavy for your whole look to work together.  You have the most stunning eyes and I’m not convinced the tones used play them up enough – browns/golds/peach seems the way to go to me!  You will be a gorgeous bride! 🙂

I think the issue is the eye make-up. It lacks definition, contrast, and it doesn’t frame your eyes properly. It makes your eyes look sleepy/bruised as opposed to subtly enhancing them.

You need more blush.

If you fix the eyes your lips won’t look “too dark”

p.s: who is doing the make-up? Is it a MUA or a hair person?
