Owen and Harlow.  Owen for Owen Meany, and Harlow for my niece!  Yay.

From the perspective of a teacher, Oliver is a VERY popular boy’s name. I get a couple Olivers every year. Be prepared to have Oliver use his last initial at some point in his education!

@VivienMarcheline:  I know a couple who met at Emerson and then named their daughter that.  I can’t help but think…what if she wants to go there???  That’ll be weird.  Though I did know a few girls named Bryn at Bryn Mawr.

I voted for Harlow & Oliver

To me both names evoke images of Hollywood in the good old days… Jean Harlow and Laurence Olivier

Ya…. I know Oliver & Olivier aren’t spelled the same (there is a second I in there), but that is the image that comes to mind when I see Harlow & Oliver written out near to each other.

Plus Olivier sounds so darn debonnaire… who could resist ?

I really like Harlow, but I don’t  like the other girl names- they sound too masculine to me. And I like Owen and Oliver for a boy

I actually like all of the names (though I think Harlow is a little too trendy right now for me personally, which stinks because I think the name is adorable!). But I voted Emerson and Everett.

I love nicknames so for me those two had the best nickname options in my opinion (not the typical shortened names that a lot of other kids would have). (Emmie, Mercy, Em- for Emerson… Evy, Rhett, Ev- for Everett)

I like the nicknames for Callahan: Callie, Cal, Calla, or just Han and Cameron: Cam, Cammie…

Griffin is adorable, the nickname Griff isn’t as appealing to me… Finn, which is also a nickname for Finnegan is cute… Finnegan could also be Finney, don’t love that.

And Oliver has the nickname Ollie, which I love, but doesn’t really grow up well.

    Just my two cents.

All the boy names are great.  I especially like Oliver and Everett.

Sorry but I’m not a fan of androgenous girl names and other than Kennedy, they are all masculine names to me.  If the twins end up looking enough alike, an androgenous name may cause your daughter to be mistaken for a boy when she’s younger unless she dresses girly all the time.

@MrsAMac:  I really like Harlow and Oliver 🙂 All the names you listed I actually really like, they’re different, and I love hearing names that I haven’t heard before 🙂

All the best with your beautiful babies!!
