with the day fast approaching, i finally decided that i would in fact like to wear a veil. i was drawn to the bird cages, but i think this looks better. what are your thoughts? or, suggestions? since i impulsively bought this veil, in the same way that i bought this dress, any cheap sources for alternates would be very much appreciated!

I really like it! I love the soft edging and I think it’s a perfect length 🙂 I am also a fan of birdcage veils, but I’m wondering if it will be too much with the flower appliques on your dress….unless you went with a subtle birdcage veil and maybe positioned it on the opposite side..? LOVE YOUR DRESS! great neckline on you 🙂

I love love your dress! I think I’d need to see a birdcage veil on you to compare.

yeah, I wanna see the birdcage veil with the dress….it with birdcage veil you could be going for a retro glam look, which is nice….your dress looks a lil old hollywood….so more pics.

I love the veil and your dress. If you want a cheap bridcage veil, you can order some russian netting and attach it to some cheap hair combs. There are some tutorials on weddingbee somewhere. But I really like the one you have, and I think it looks better than a birdcage would.
What I did was wear my veil for the ceremony and formal pictures, and then I took it off for the reception and put in some hair flowers. You can find some cheap hair flowers at places like Forever 21 (where I got mine) and other stores since they are so popular right now.
