Does anyone know how long after ordering a dress you can change details on it?? About a month ago, I ordered a Maggie Sottero Embrace in all-ivory, but on the MS website, I noticed they show it in ivory lace over light gold, and I’ve kinda fallen in love with that colour scheme!!
I just called my bridal shop (in the UK) and they said they can’t change it as the ‘order’s been confirmed’ but I am wondering if I can contact Maggie Sottero in the US directly, and ask for the change from them?
What do you think?
Or should I just try not to think about it too much and love the ivory dress?!! Help! Panic!

I am unsure about the ordering rules however I recommend that you just ‘love the ivory dress’. I actually prefer the Ivory. If it was the Ivory that you fell in love with and tried on I would be nervous about ordering another colour that you have not seen against your skin tone.
I think it is natural to start to worry you have made the wrong decision. I had many sleepless nights after ordering my dress as I had paid over my budget however when it arrived and I tried it on I realised why I had ordered it in the first place

@nookoo: Can’t hurt to try to call MS directly! If it’s too late, I think the ivory is gorgeous anyway.. and the gold is so subtle that it’s not THAT much of a difference.
Beautiful dress choice!

@UKBuzz: I know your wedding has since passed, but I’m wondering what happened with your dress. I did the reverse — ordered an ivory lace over light gold — and though I think it looks so pretty, now I’m worried about matching shoes/veil/groom attire to it. I, too, am wondering if I should ask for the color to be switched. Only I’d ask for the all-ivory.
