@lizzi0728:  Oh, I was just thinking of the blue glass “rocks” at dollartree, then I noticed you said that there would be rocks on the bottom.   I’m in OR too!  Welcome to WB

Earlier this evening, I just finished helping a florist put long crinkled-up pieces of clear cellophane into tall clear vases to help decorate our church fellowship hall for a Christmas dinner tomorrow evening.  When you add water, the cellophane looks like ice!

We were using it along with large and small Christmas balls in some of the vases.  We also had very tall, white-painted twigs/branches and flowers to add height and interest to some of them.  However, you could layer your centerpieces (think parfait style for how the layering would look) however you would like, with your colored rocks between the layers of scrunched cellophane, with water throughout, and your floating candles at the top.
