Every time I get my brows waxed or threaded, I wake up the next day with the waxed area completely covered in tiny white pimples. We’re talking like 40 of them. I’ve tried everything I can think of- hard wax, threading, washing my face before and after, applying tea tree oil and even straight rubbing alcohol after, telling them not to use aftercare. Nothing seems to make a difference.
The only thing that doesn’t do this to me is tweezing but honestly I’m not skilled enough for that other than touch ups between waxing (which I avoid for as long as possible because I basically have to go into hiding for 4 days after I get waxed thanks to my super awesome pizza face).
Does anyone have another suggestion I can try???

Can a professional tweeze them for you?

Do you moisturize before you get waxed? I find I break out if my skin isn’t SUPER hydrated before.

Get them waxed one last time if you have to and then do maintenance tweezing from there on, if you check everyday as part of your routine and pluck any hairs that are starting to grow back you won’t have to do any shaping yourself, so there should be no issue.

That’s not uncommon. Try Tend Skin. You can get it at Target or Amazon. It’s a great product.
PS: Don’t use it on the day of the waxing. Wait until the following day. Good luck!

Thanks! I’ll try these suggestions.
If those don’t work, maybe I’ll try getting professional tweezing like xdanielle :
suggested. I guess I didn’t even realize that was an option. I do try to keep up with tweezing as things grow back but I just always get behind.

hmm…it’s quite bizarre that you break out from threading but not tweezing since they’re functionally the same :/ do you always go to the same place? I wonder if their tools are dirty or their hands are

Honestly I don’t know the answer because a couple months ago I got my upper lip waxed and by that night I literally had a pimple mustache. Red pimples. It stayed around for a few days. How embarrassing that was.

I get this and have ever since I was teenager, my sister is a beautician and we have quite lierally tried everything. I have found that she wipes me down in the area with some cleanser after waxing.. straight I do my usual face routine, cleanse, tone, moisturize etc.
I know typically time ay event to be either the day of the waxing or have it done a week before.
