So my fiance chose a fabulous 1ct princess cut diamond e-ring for me which i adore, however due to the setting of the stone i cannot get a wedding ring to sit under it without having a massive gap between the 2 rings or else having to get a square chunk cut out of a wedding band so my e-ring sits into it. Please give me ideas if u can!!

Show Me Your Gaps !!! e-rings w bands that have space between
Or wear your ering or band on your right hand

Would you be open to wearing a curved band? That way there’s not that big “square chunk” in it that you don’t seem to want, and the curve looks elegant. There’s still a gap, but not as much of one as with a straight band.

Skip the wedding band – that’s what I’m doing! I love the way my e-ring looks by itself so on my wedding day by ring will magically switch from an e-ring to a wedding ring. And I don’t have to buy a thing!

My Engagement Ring is an oval.. but we had a custom band made to fit flush against my stone because i did not want the ‘gap’ look. (i am sure they could do it for your Engagement Ring as well!) It did not cost us that much extra and i really like the look. We just found a reputable jeweler and he did the work in a little under 2 weeks, the whole process of ordering in the custom sapphire band took more like 2 months though.
What they did is remove 2 stones from the sapphire band, shaped it to fit the curve of the oval and then soldered the sapphire band to the diamond one for strenght. I wish i had a picture of just the wedding band for you so you could see it, however its currently at the bank until the wedding. Good luck!! 🙂

get a spacer that you can cut a gap in then wear a normal band
