I’m having a cake dilema..This is the cake I would love to have at my wedding for us to cut into:
But the baker we were going to have is not available on our date. After researching other bakers, we’ve decided that it might not be worth it to hire a baker to do it since we won’t actually be eating it. We just want a cake for show that we can cut into. My mom is actually going to be baking like 10 rum cakes that are DELICIOUS for the cake that we serve.
SO since now we don’t want to pay for an expensive fake cake, I am thinking we should just cut into one of my mom’s rum cakes. However, they are all bundt shaped..So I’m having issues trying to figure out how to decorate it. Here’s a picture I found so far:
But I’m not in love. I’ve been searching everywhere for decorated bundt inspiration but can’t find anything I love! HELP!

I was thinking of keeping it simple: Bundt, powered sugar, no frosting, berries, and a flower? I just don’t want it to be cheesy with a potted plant in the hole like My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Haha
