MsJ2018 :  we are doing all the decorations for ours. It’s in a beautiful century old barn so we really aren’t doing a ton of decorations. Mainly just some simple table decor and bunting.

I will definitely be decorating our wedding. I am very crafty, and love getting ideas online and make them wiht my own twist. I love the ideas of themes, and your theme fits well with a wedding. The Red rose in the glass case! 🙂

I like helping my sisters and friends out with their weddings, baby showers, baptisms, etc. I find it fun. I’ll prolly post on here once I get engaged and begin looking into my own wedding decorations!

We did all of our decorations. It is time consuming but totally worth it. We did a lot of facebook marketplace for getting lanterns, candles, etc. and just spray painting them the color we wanted. IKEA is a great place as well. We got a bunch of lanterns there and sprayed them, same with frames. We also scoured the antique stores for frames as well. Its totally doable but it is very time consuming. So make sure you have help or time. Also my mom bought a cricut and it saved so much time/money in the long run. She got it on sale the day after Thanksgiving

MsJ2018 :  I read going to thrift stores is a great place to find things. Likewise the dollar store.

The one project I was planning, but ultimately scrapped just due to the logistics of shipping, were glitter vases. You just buy a bunch of glass – vases, votive holders, jars – and either glitter spray paint or spray adhesive and glitter to apply to the inside of the vessel.

You can get a variety of sizes and shapes and bring the continuity in with decorating them all the same way.

DIY VASES FROM UPCYCLED JARS. Trying to figure out what to do with all of those glass bottles and jars that keep appearing? We’ve got the solution. Add a few coats of gold paint to create these pretty DIY Vases from upcycled jars for your home office, windowsill, guest bedroom or dining room table. In fact, these little beauties make the perfect upcycled gift for a friend or neighbour when filled with a few fresh flowers. If they’re picked from your garden, even better!

Here are some examples of what we did:

And this is what our tables looked like (guest and for sale pictures, will post better ones once we get them back!)

MsJ2018 :  Yeah, I was really lucky that my parents are both semi retired so I could delegate a lot to them. I could just show them a picture and my dad is so good at building thing, he just took it and ran with it! I did have to scale my mom back a little bit! She wanted all of these things on the tables, and I was like “there’s not enough room!” We just got one or two of each thing and set up a table and that helped us narrow down what we wanted. Then we just went from there!
