I am looking for the price on a Justin Alexander style 8630 wedding dress, and I am not able to find it anywhere..
Does anyone know how much it is? I REALLY hope its not too expensive as i am absolutely in love with the dress..
As my fiance and I just finished our degrees we are on a pretty tight budget, so hopefully I am able to find something we can afford..

I tried on a JA satin fit and flare that was $1600. Not quite the same but gives you an idea..

Resale wedding dress sites are often a good source for information. They usually list the original price along with their asking price.
This bride listed the original price as $1150 US

I am not sure what that exact dress costs, but I just did some digging around on preownedweddingdress.com, and it looks like the Justin Alexander 8637 was originally $1390. (Here’s the listing for the dress- http://www.preownedweddingdresses.com/dresses/58203/Justin-Alexander-8637-Size-10.html)
I would guess that the 8630 would be a similar price, since different dresses from the same designer, from the same season seem to be similarly priced.
Since that dress is in the fall 2012 collection, you might have a hard time finding it used right now. So if it’s out of your budget, you should post some photos of the dress and get some help from other bees on similar dresses, I’ve seen lots of bees successfully find “dress twins” that are cheaper. Good luck!

Thanks a lot girls. I will check it out.. It is so difficult finding the right dress…
I havent been dress shopping yet, but i read somewhere that it was a good idea to browse the internet first to get an idea og styles etc. I am also madly in love with a vera wang dress VW351023.. Hopefully they will look beautiful irl 🙂

@milla24: Wow that’s gorgeous!! It’s really similar to the Justin Alexander dress too!
I think it does help to look at pictures before you go dress shopping, and to decide on some styles you want to try on. I figured out that I didn’t like tulle or ballgown dresses, and I loved lace, so that helped narrow down the dress hunt. Good luck! 🙂

@MsVoyageur: Yes, I just went dress shopping for the first time, and I ended up really liking a Mori Lee dress #2517 – so different from what I was looking for, but I ended up trying it on “just for fun” and now I am actually also considering it, and I was 110% sure I wanted lace..
I am going to the states next month, and hopefully I will find my dream dress 🙂 wedding gowns are so much cheaper in the states. I can see you live in Houston- I am actually also going to Houston for a few days- can you recommend any shops? Then I can book an appointment before going 🙂
