I have been working on our wedding music for the last 3 weeks. It’s been a really hard process because my finance and I like totally different types of music. I am a huge country music person and he likes the underground rap and rock. So I have been trying to find music that has meaningful words and that we can both agree on. We aren’t having a very traditional wedding and looking for some fun songs for the wedding. Here’s is an example for you; when my oldest sister got married, her and her husband walked back down the aisle to Van Halen’s Girl you really got me now. Here are some songs that I have picked out but Im not sure if there really that appropriate and there all country:My entrance: Sugarland – Every girl like me http://youtu.be/_kXGe1nvlh4After they pronounce us husband and wife: Thompson Square – Are you gonna kiss me or not http://youtu.be/FDUOcHg5ijgOur First Dance: Lady Antebellum – I can’t take me eyes off you http://youtu.be/qXwWT2Chx64
So now I’m coming to all the bee’s for some music advice because I need some serious help and ideas.
What song did you walk down the aisle to?What song did you have your first dance to?Or if you have any idea’s at all it would be so helpful.

Well… our first date involved a night at my house in the game room and we watched Moulin Rouge. I’m sure that wasn’t his best first date, but I loved every minute of it. Now, we LOVE the movie and every song makes me think of him and vice versa. With that being said, I’ll be walking down to the instrumental version of Come What May from the soundtrack, and our first dance will be the movie’s rendition of Your Song.
As far as after pronouncing… I have no idea. I REALLY like the instrumental version of Bittersweet Symphony because it’s so upbeat… although the song may not be fitting for the occasion… the instrumentals are phenomenal. A friend of mine used practically ALL Enya music for her bridal party and for her to walk down to.
