I know this topic has been done to death but I don’t want to miss anything!
Here is a (sort of broken-down) list of what I have so far or know that I still need to do.
Photographer is paid off. As is church.
Pay off DJ, reception venue, insurance, hair, makeup, cake.
Buy mixed nuts for cake table
Buy Snacks for table as guests wait for our arrival
Borrow coolers for keeping drinks cold behind bar (we can’t use our venues coolers… I know it’s stupid but whatever)
Buy ice, soda, tea, lemonade, waters, and the alcohol (3-4 kegs, wine, and a little more liquor because we have a lot already)
Buy balloons for highway to signal guests where to turn (for those who can’t read the printed directions, lol)
Tag borrowed Christmas lights so I know who to return them to
Tie ribbon on last few bubbles
Give cake topper to baker (Cousin)
Send another reminder to party and family
Purchase buns for the food, drinks, alcohol
Borrow crock pots (2 more) to make the meal myself
I have all food and utensils purchased. Hosting it at my father’s girlfriend’s house. Table and chairs taken care of.
Put gifts into bags for party and those helping.
Confirm with photographer her time of arrival and that she has directions
Aisle decor is made and pew clips bought. Hang them day of.
Alter decorations bought (candles, flowers, table cloth, pen for signing license). Put this together day of
Take blank CDs to DJ to make playlist of all music being used during ceremony
Take this CD to the church and keep a spare copy incase they lose it
Put all my accessories with my dress
My dress doesn’t need dry-cleaned or pressed, I checked this last night. It looks perfect (thankfully, I can save money)
Flower pedals and basket bought
Flower girl dress and ring bearer outfit bought
Clean car for driving off from ceremony to reception (coming back for pictures, but the “illusion” of the drive off.. you know)
All utensils, etc. bought.
Mother-In-Law is making the food. That is all taken care of, finally.
Purchase alcohol and drinks (as stated above)
Set up (duh)
Centerpeices bought and mostly assembled (candles tied together, votives have been glittered, mirrors taken apart to be just a plain mirror)
Bought plenty, plenty of candles incase I need more
Christmas lights bought/borrowed for ambiance
Have to hang these with thumb tacks (venue rules…) so AMPLE bought. Seriously like 12 packs of 200 tacks. Might need to buy more.
Tables and chairs are at the venue, so thats good
Borrow extra tables and chairs from church
Table cloths bought
Tip jar for bar (some think this is tacky, but we’re doing it)
Table numbers made/bought
Need to make ‘reserved’ signs for close-family-only tables
Flower petals bought (for head table decoration)
Can you think of anything I am forgetting?
