Sesame chicken, rice and green beans. I’m rather looking for it.

@ieatunicorns:

This won’t help you now, since you’ve probably already started cooking.  But since I made Moroccan Chicken last night and we didn’t eat until 9pm (it was worth the wait, though), tonight we’re having BLT’s (with tomatoes fresh from our garden, yum) and corn chowder.

You’ll have to let us know what you chose, lol.

Erm… Spongebob Squarepants mac and cheese. It’s too hot to cook.

I tried a fancy new recipe tonight!  The dish was called “socca,” from the cookbook Plenty, by Yotam Ottolenghi. It’s basically chickpea flour pancakes topped with slow-cooked onions and roasted cherry tomatoes with herbs. I was stoked.

It turned out decent – the veggie topping was fabulous, and the pancakes themselves were ok, but a little heavy. My DH, though, who hasn’t eaten grains in two years (seriously) LOVED it. It was so nice to be able to make something that resembled a bread product for him! And now that I’ve made it once, I think I could do it again a little better.

I’m eating some brocolli salad my mom sent home with me last night, not really a “meal” but it will do until the Hubby gets home and we can eat something else…yep I’m pregnant I eat more than one dinner.

I’m making a lentil loaf and roasted brussel sprouts for dinner tonight.  My husband loves my lentil loaf.

Frozen pizza with a side of sauteed swiss chard and beet greens! Quite a combination…
