I would stay away from red or fushia with a bridal party that size! Soft pink all the way! And I’m also a fan of the mismatched look. If you have that many girls in the exact same dress they start to look like soldiers!

I love love love mismatched colors in a bridal party. BUT if you want to stick with 1 color, my vote goes to the soft pink! Maybe ask your girls what color they would prefer? Even though I love the soft pink, I personally wouldn’t be able to rock it (it would wash me out!)

I love mixing these colors, I think it looks awesome, especially when you have a lot of girls. Lots of shades of pink would be lovely.

I think soft pink bridesmaids dresses are really pretty.

@summerbride_87: I agree you wouldn’t want too muh red as it’s quite heavy for the Summer. I agree with @mandypop:
and have different shades of pink as the picture she posted looks great.

I’m one of those who can’t pull off light pink (my own complexion is very ruddy), so I voted fuchsia. Honestly, though — shades of pink could be nice in this case. I would stay away from adding red unless you’re 100% sure that they’ll coordinate. They definitely do in your decor photo, but any undertones of orange in the red and you’re going to be clash city, IMO.
Basically, just envision what you’re going to look nicest against, and what color your specific maids will look nicest in, and then go from there. And if you decide to do shades, try to make sure they’re either all towards the purpler side of red/pink or all towards the orange side of red/pink — rather than mixing watermelon and cranberry, for instance. (Then again, sorry if I’ve just offended someone who has those colors!)
