That’s awesome! I’m so happy that you’re able to wear the ring you love again! I’d love to see pictures as well 🙂

@Shaerena:  you can DEFINITELY use sizers. i bought my mom a david yurman ring for mothers day, but she wears a 4, and the smallest i could get was a 5, and she just had her jeweler but this spacer thing on the bottom…its the same color as the silver, and no one will notice unless you show them. i think comfort might be an issue if youve gone down a lot of sizes, but its worth a try if youre that attached to your ring.

Oh I am so relieved for you.  I kept reading this post thinking “Yay! she lost all that weight1” (I see you as an inspiration) but then thinking “damn, she can’t wear her ring”.  Personally, I don’t care what shape my ring is as long as it’s comfortable and looks nice.  The base of our fingers are not a perfect circle after all.  So show us picks so we can see how everything turns out.

I wonder if there is enough material to take the top design portion of the ring and turn that into a pendant necklace and then use the rest of the “band” to melt down into your wedding band. That way you could keep the original design of the ring as the necklace portion.

I hope you find a solution!

** OOPS! I missed the update. YAY! I’m so happy that you were able to make it work. **
