Okay so this ring is from BlueNile.com. I chose the setting & the emerald cut.. Wanted to know your guys opinion? I was planning on going with a solitaire instead but thought the side stones look really cute with the emerald. The Center stone is a 0.95 emerald cut – Very Good Cut – H Color – VVS1 Clarity . I’m a size 4 , what do you guys think? 😀

I think it is absolutely lovely, and I have an Emerald cut stone, it’s not a diamond, and I love it. They are lovely as a solitaire or sidestone, so that’s personal preference – So my vote is go for the emerald cut!!

I love emerald cuts! They have an old world beauty about them, and I also get self-conscious about how my Ring Bearer glitters. If I could start over, I’d get a stepcut!
mzwiggy: Are the side stones in that ring princess cut?

I think it’s nice, but step cut stones look best in very simple settings.
Also, their beauty doesn’t show in it’s fullest potential in such a small size.
It still is very nice though.

mzwiggy: It’s very nice! I’m a solitaire lover, and would probably let that .95 shine on it’s own..that’s a nice size!

irina-noelle: is .95 really small? I’m a size 4 so I was hoping It wouldn’t be too small for me /:
But I will have some more thought into it. Maybe I may end up with a solitaire.

I think it will look amazing on your small fingers.. .95 carat is a nice size plus you have the other side stones too..I think you will be very happy with it!

And there is another bee on here that has a gorgeous 3 stone emerald cut ring and it looks fabulous with the side stones…I think .95 is plenty big enough for you and will be perfect!!

It’s okay. I’d prefer if the side stones were emerald too and not princess, but that’s just me.
I also always wondered why emerald cuts don’t shin or sparkle; they seem more like baguettes to me.
