Hi Bees- My first dress shopping trip was a success, I figured out what looks good on my body and really liked a lot of the dresses. There was one I fell in love with. BUT… my consultant would not tell me the designer, or model of the dress and she wouldn’t let us take ANY pics. My friend tried to be sneaky with her phone camera, but the consultant picked up right away and told her that is not allowed! I was able to get one really quick photo of the dress before the appointment was over, so if anyone has seen this or something similar please HELP. It is fitted on top with a dropped waist, then poofs out at the bottom.
I want to try to find a better price somewhere because it was $1040.00 for the sample, which is a bit pricy for me.

I’m sorry I’m no help – its beautiful though!
Just a heads up – avoid bridal salons like that! Good salons shouldn’t have any problem sharing who the designer is & should allow you to take pictures. Avoid this store like the plague.

@Mrs Franks: I thought the same thing, and it’s one of the reasons I don’t want to buy the dress there, but the consultant was very nice and did a great job so no complaints there. The dress is sooo pretty on!! I wish I had a pic to show. Thanks!

Does your bridal salon have a website? because if so their website will list all the designers they carry and they you could hunt the dress down that way

Where were you shopping at? I had a crappy situation like that in St. Louis. I called the store back, acting like a mother, and was actually told a FAKE dress style and number. Definitely not going back there.
To me, it looks a lot like an Allure- take a look and tell me what you think!, and here is the actual link. Good Luck!

I would agree, I think it looks very much like an Allure or maybe a Casablanca. And if so, the sample price she quoted you would definitely be a little high from what I remember seeing! Hopefully you shouldn’t have a hard time finidng a different salon that carries the line, it’s pretty widely avaiable.
