We bought some puppy kongs and froze them with peanut butter. The puppy kongs are made out of softer rubber than the adult ones and freezing them makes them more soothing. We found anything with stuffing in it just got pulled apart. Rope toys can act like dental floss. We also got training treats that had menthol in them which were supposed to sooth teething gums. We also soaked her kibble in warm water to make is mushy and less sore for her teeth 🙂

My pug loves chewing on bully sticks and Himalayan chews, and they helped her when she was losing her teeth a few months ago.  I would also try a Kong brand treat bone with treats in it. I don’t know what I’d do without her Kong toys!

stuffed frozen kongs. take a rag, soak it and pop it in the freezer.  it will be nice and soothing for her but harder to destroy. Dont worry, should only last a few weeks and all her new teeth will be in.

The frozen kong is a good suggestion. I think I’ve also read frozen treats like bananas and apples, but I’m not 100% sure so google that one.

My little lady is raw fed so when she was losing those baby teeth we gave her frozen meaty bones to chew on. She absolutely looooved chewing them and would sit outside with us for as long as we’d let her chew. She also liked bully sticks and antlers but the frozen meaty bones were definitely her favorite.

PetSteps has an Orka brand in which all the toys can be safely frozen! They include rubber teething toys and rope. Orbee also has a really soft rubber teething bone, which is softer than the puppy Kong, which can last awhile. Edible Nylabones last awhile, but what I REALLY recommend are called Everest chews – they’re actually just hardened preserved cheese, no stain or smell, and pup’s LOVE ’em!

Nylabones. They’re the only toy my lab can’t destroy!
