I am having a candy bar at my weddng and the vendor is supplying clear plastic bags for the guest to use…my fiance is concerned that people will not know what to do with the candy bar and that we should have something on the table for each place setting…any ideas? Chocolate bar with a wrapper with instructions? Help please 🙂

I think a sign at the buffet would suffice. A cute little anecdote to let guests know to fill a bag of treats. If there’s food out on display, people at weddings generally know it’s for them, and if there’s bags and serving spoons guests will get the hint.

I made a sign, similiar to the this one to put on my candy table. I have assembled boxes wrapped in ribbon and with our monogram to put on the table.

Tons of ideas on Pinterest…little banners, signs, etc.

Write the directions on a little chalkboard! And maybe have one or two little example bags next to the chalkboard.

As long as a few of the guests know what it is there for, and they fill up a bag and bring it back to their table, the word will spread! My sister had one and didn’t need any explanation. As soon as one person went to the table everyone started!
