mwd123 :  Your local sign shop can make you vinyl decals to apply to the window of your choice. You can thrift old frames and have a window shop install the glass  if necessary. Bonus: no shipping charges.

Hmm. My creative juices are flowing for this one. Go to a local craft store–not sure what you have, but someplace like: Hobby lobby, Michaels Craft Store, or maybe Aaron Brothers Framing (can buy offline if you have enough time) then, pick up a frame that you like. Usually the frames come with a glass or pexi glass, already. Take out the backing of the frame, and superglue, or maybe hot glue the glass or pexi glass back into the glass groove, in the frame. That way it doesn’t come loose, or fall out of the frame. Then, you can use one of those window markers, and write whatever you’d like!

I think that’s what I would do. Might even save you some cash! 🙂

Maybe this is a stupid suggestion but has anyone ever noticed that people who work in coffee shops have the best handwriting?  I’d probably find the coffee shop with the cutest “daily specials” sign (that has actual daily specials, not one of the signs that’s the same for two years) and pop in during a really slow time during the day.  I bet you could sweet talk whoever wrote the sign to write some cute stuff on a glass picture frame for you.

Or you could print out whatever you want written and just stick it behind the glass and copy over it.  That’s probably a much less stupid suggestion.

mwd123 :  I forgot all about an easy DIY. Find a frame with or without glass. Add the glass if necessary.

Draft the wording you want in the font of your choice on your computer. Make it fit the size of your window, then print.

Tape the paper to the underside of the window so you can read the wording from the top. Use a sharpie in the color of your choice to copy the sign on the top side of the glass.
