So, dress 1 is a Demetrios dress I tried on and loved. I love the beading, and the sparkle tulle used on the skirt (doesn’t show in the pictures). Make me all glittery.
Dress 2 is another I found to custom order. (If anyone knows the designer, I’d love to know). I’d get it strapless. But I love love the lacey look to it, and the fact that I could more easily get away with the lace edge veil I want. I’m not worried about what it would look like on, since it’s the same cut and style, but I don’t know which details I love more.
All opinions and comments desired, PLEASE!! 🙂 Thank you.

I think that the straps look even better than the strapless. I’m leaning toward strapless on my own dress because I love the sweetheart style neckline, but it looks really pretty with the straps.

They are both beautiful, but if I had to pick one just based on the photos I would lean toward the first one –

No wonder why you are having a hard time choosing……they are both BEAUTIFUL! I am having a hard time myself, but I might go with # 2. You will look fantabulous in either one of them!

They are definitely both beautiful but I have to go with #2!! Good luck with your decision! 🙂

I’d go with the one you already tried on and loved. Custom ordering without trying something on is tricky. The finished product may not look like exactly the picture, the lace quality may be different than what you envisioned, and it may not fit you as well even if it’s the same cut. Believe me I tried on 100+ dresses, mostly in the same silhouette, and they all looked completely different on. There are many factors that go into play such as the fabrics used and the tailoring.
The Demetrios is very pretty and you can easily rock a lace-edged veil with either. My dress doesn’t have any lace but I’m still wearing a mantilla.

I’m loving #1. Both dresses are beautiful, you can’t go wrong.

I wouldn’t worry about wearing a lace edge veil with the first one; the intricate pattern in the beading sort of echoes the look of lace to me. I voted for that one because I think it is just a prettier dress but probably better too since you tried it on. I agree with meliss that similar silhouette does not always mean it is similarly flattering!

I like number one better…the neckline is beautiful!

I vote for number one! Your description of how you feel in it answers the question. 🙂
