I recently posted about my dress being too similar to somebody elses and you all made me realize it wasn’t – so thank you! I went one final time to try on dresses…I hadn’t tried on any ball gown dresses which are what I’ve always dreamed of wearing. Well..guess what. I fell in LOVE. Surprise surprise.
We are getting married in a victorian ballroom so the princess dress definetly fits the feel better if that sways your opinion at all.
Dress #1: Casablanca 2066 – I LOVE THIS DRESS. I did from the second I tried it on. It fit me like a glove so I could see how it would really look and I think my figure looks great in it. I just really worry that it is too trendy. I am a really traditional person and I am afraid I just love how I look in it. It is alot less bridal though.
Dress #2: Enzoani Dabra -It is exactly what I have always wanted in a dress with a touch of the first one. It is big, huge train and I felt SO beautiful in it instead of sexy. I’d have the back brought down a bit to “v” it a little like the first dress and have my hips taken in to makes it a bit more of a dropped waist. It isn’t clipped in this first pic and was 6 sizes too big so I didn’t get a full feel of the correct size like I did in the first. The salon is ordering a loaner for me to try on in the right size. I just felt like it didn’t show my figure off as much.
HA omg I look deranged in this picture….please excuse that! HA!
Here is another girl in the dress actually fitted and with more of a dropped waist look which I think it would look like on me from the front
Friends and family are team 2 princess dress….said it is more “me” and more of a wedding dress. I just can’t get the first one out of my head!
What do you think?

I much prefer the second dress. It looks fab!
I think you look great in both of them. Tough choice!

Yes the first one is pretty trendy, but thats always going to be an issue with weddings no matter what (cue puffy sleeves, v fore head bands) A dropped waist ballgown is a trend too, just a more subtle one.
I dont find the first one less bridal then the second, just less classic bridal. You said you loved the first one tho. You didnt say it about the second. Do you love it just as much?

I love love love that second dress, it’s actually given me a little dress envy a few times when I’ve seen it on other brides! (besides the fact that drop waists look awful on me, but still! it’s gorgeous!). The first dress looks really lovely on you too, but I agree it’s sort of a “trendy” dress and I don’t think it has the same wow factor as the second.

@MASPA: a much different love lol. I should have specified. Like the first one is more of a damn I look smokin. Love how I look! The second dress is like a I love this dress I love this train I love the skirt I love that it spins kinda love. Does that make sense?

Would you rather feel beautiful or sexy on your wedding day?

I feel like they are both so pretty for different reasons. I am fully obsessed with #2 and am cetain that is my dress but it seems so hard to”abandon” the other one after thinking that was it for months!
Maybe I just feel bad for the first one? HA.

I looooooove the second one. It’s so beautiful.

They are both beautiful, but you’re positively glowing in the 2nd dress..
They both look AMAZING on you but I like the first one better!

@ellbell921: there you go then! Pick the dress you feel beautiful in (which will make you feel more confident, and confidence is sexy).
