Hi Bees!
Just wondering which sash do you think looks better with my dress. The wedding dress that I am wearing has a wide silk sash that is unadorned. My Maid/Matron of Honor has recommended that I use the ribbon headband I bought (but won’t be wearing on my hair) that has a crystal embellishment on it by layering it on top of my dress sash.
What are your thoughts?? Do you think it looks better with it? Or without it?
Thank you so much!
Option 1 – Wear the crystal ribbon sash on top of the current, built-in sash

Option 2 – Original dress sash without the crystal embellishment

love your dress! i didnt vote in the poll, because I was wondering if it would be an option to scrap the built in sash all together? or is that not possible? I think a crystal sash would look great on its own, and define your waist a bit more.

@hopefloats: thank you! good suggestion (one that i did not think of!) unfort i think it’ll be difficult to scrap the built in sash as the long bow that forms the train needs to hook onto it (and it can be detached and replaced by a shorter bow come reception/dancing time)…..this is how it looks from behind (pardon the make-shift “up do”!):

I see the need for the built-in sash for the bow, but by itself it seems to break up your body. With the smaller sash ontop of the built in one, it’s very complimentary 🙂
