I guess it depends on what your wedding colors are? I voted Navy because it was easier for me to see, but if it’s going to play a lesser role the day of, grey may be the way to go.
The pink is very distracting and I really don’t like it. What about a soft gray background with navy text and a pink border?
The gradiant reminds me of Lisa Frank, like there should be sparkly cartoon dolphins in the bottom corner.
I know you didn’t ask for critique about the design, so you can totally ignore this, but the script font on the top (“because your love and friendship…”) is difficult to read and makes the card busy, downplaying your names. Also are YOU and AND meant to be underlined? It looks like one of those word doc spell check underlines.
@squares: No the critique is great. I mean it isn’t really pertinent info so I thought it wouldn’t matter if it was in the script. but I can see how it would distract from the names.
I like the pink gradient. It’s meant to look like watercolor almost. My colors are pink and Ivory so it makes most sense
I think I like the blue option better.
I would make the “reception to follow” smaller, I think.
The navy is easier to read, but to be honest I had a hard time deciphering that font (sorry)!
