Hello everyone! I have been working at a company for 2 years in the accounting department but they relocated to another state. They offered me to stay with the company working from home but I would have to be moved to the sales department. So of course I accepted.
I’ve been working from home now for a couple weeks and I really don’t like it. Everyone says I am crazy, they say it’s their dream to have the opportunity to work from home. I agree that it is a great opportunity. The flexibility is great, the time I save from not having a commute is great. I would like to go back to college and I know it would be convenient for that as well.. Not to mention if we have kids…. However, my problem is that I don’t like the work I have to do now.
I was recently offered a position at another company working in Accounting. I know I will like the work much more. My only problem is that I can’t get the perks of working from home out of my mind. Not to mention this place requires an hour lunch break everyday, so that’s an hour wasted….
So, although I’d really like the other job, should I just bite the bullet and be greatful for the opportunity to work from home? I could use this time to further my education….
What would you do?
