I do not make public critiques of photographers web sites or work but of the three you have posted here my personal preference would be for Patton Pro.

I don’t have time to look through their websites, but some questions to ask:

    1) what kind of back-up gear do you bring to weddings? (should have extra lenses, bodies, cards, and batteries!)

    2) what do you do in the event of illness (i.e. if your photog is in the hospital on your wedding day, do they have a plan/other photogs that they ask to stand in?)

    3) if you book with one photographer are you guaranteed that photography except in unforeseeable circumstances

    4) how do they back up their work? (you don’t want them leaving your pics on their memory card for 2 weeks. they should back it up to an extra server or an online server preferably)

    5) how many weddings do they book per weekend?

also, you should try to get a feel for the photographer’s personality. this person is going to be following you around on probably the most important day of your life thus far. if they’re a grumpy gus, you probably don’t need that kind of company 🙂

Since you’ve already narrowed it down to three and photography is a very personal choice.  What you like prob won’t be what I like.  Here are the questions I have outlined to ask my finalists.  Ultimately it will come down to what I get for my money and personalities meshing well.

    Describe your photography style

What is your favorite shot you’ve taken?

Do you provide a second shooter?

What style of album do you have/offer/create?  Do you do the album design yourself?

How many weddings do you shoot a year? Do you cap it? what % of your business is weddings?

What is your approximate turnaround time for teasers? First round of edits? Proofs? Album?

    Do you use digital/film/or both?

How many photos do you typically shoot at a wedding/pics per hour? How many do you edit after the wedding?

What time do you arrive to set up?

What are your OT charges? Or do you have a full day package?

Do you bring backup equipment/how do you back up files and when?

What are your policies regarding proofs? How many do I receive?

Do you offer online ordering/proofing? Costs?

What are your policies regarding negatives/digital files/releases? Costs?

Are you familiar with our location? Can you visit it beforehand to check it out?

What is your payment policy? When, how much, type?

    Do you provide references?

Can you try to accommodate specific shots I want from my wedding? i.e. american gothic pose, outdoor family formals

Sample package options and pricing – my goals are to have two shooters full day, package to include album and proof book
