ps ~ a few of them obviously haven’t been attached to ribbon yet, so please disregard that fact 🙂

I love the flowers on the last sash! I’m a sucker for flowers and rosettes. My dress, my shoes, and my bridesmaids dresses all have rosettes 😛

I am in love with that last one!! Gorgeous.

Where’s the headpiece from? It’s lovely!

@Rachel631: i would also love to know where the headpiece is from!
I love all those sashes- I’ve been comtemplating buying one from the same etsy designer as the first couple! her stuff is gorgeous!
What is your dress like? I’d be tempted to stay away from something too complicated in the sash if you’re also doing a headpiece like that..I really like the first one personally 🙂

I recognize the headpiece from Twigs and Honey. It is absolutely stunning! And I think the last belt would go the best. They are all beautiful sashes though. 🙂

yes girls its twigs and honey and it seriously is more beautiful in person! the dress is just a-line ivory satin with a kind of scooped boat neck line. very simple and I won’t do any other jewelry obv. its an evening wedding so I figured I can get away with a bit more glam. :).

I agree with the other PPs. The flowers in the last sash are going really well with your amazing headpiece.

I LOVE that headpiece, and I think Sash D with the amazing flowers will go so, so well with it! I definitely think the combo will be glam, evening-y and perfect for the wedding you’re describing!

Last one – hands down. It’s so so pretty.

Hmmm. I like the last one the best. However, I think these sashes might be too busy. I think you need to find one that is a little more simple, bc you don’t want it to compete with the headpiece. I’m worried that you will look too overdone if you choose a very detailed, wide sash. I have been scouring sash options, I’ll check if I can find one that I think would be more complimentary.
Can you post a pic of your dress?

I def understand its a bold move. I just feel like its the one day , if any, we can pull off doing things extravagantly. the dress is relatively simple. I definitely think if i do one of these and the headpiece, i’m maxed out for accessories, so i wouldn’t wear anything else at all. no earrings, etc. I looked into “smaller” sashes, but i just can’t find any that have the same beautiful detail. The thinner they get, i feel they get more “generic wedding belt”.

Go for the huge flower sash then. It’ll be fine with that dress, because it’s so simple. It will add some whimsy to an elegant dress.
On a different note, I also looked at the Twigs and Honey website and they have some AMAZING headpieces there! Just a shame they’re so expensive.
