I am pretty sure I will be going with a chevron-shaped band. It suits the shape of my ring best (that I’ve found) and I don’t mind how it looks on its own (mostly I’ll wear them as a set, but I like the option of not wearing my e-ring all the time).
It comes down to 4 options: both channel set rings are .25 carat, and both bead-set are .15 carat. I’m stuck as to whether to go all-diamond or diamond & sapphire.
(P.S. Ignore the prices. I’d likely be getting through our jeweler.)
Here’s my e-ring: it’s a combo of channel & bead/prong.
1: .15 diamond, bead set
2: .15 diamond & sapphire, bead set
3: .25 diamond, channel set
4: .25 diamond & sapphire, channel set

I think the third or fourth one!

Have you tried on your ering with a plain metal chevron band? Because your halo is already centered between two straight diamond bands, I *think* I would like it better with a solid metal chevron band so I chose #5 in your poll. But, of the choices you gave I would probably pick #2.

I’d have to choose the last one. Because your wedding band should compliment your engagement ring and since your stone is a sapphire I’d say make your wedding band part sapphire too. 🙂

0.25 diamond only – let that engagement ring shine!

Thank you guys for the advise! I’m so stuck, ha ha!
I tried on a solid one to see what it would look like, but it was sterling silver. I’ve been looking for one in 10k that wasn’t too pointed or thin (the few I’ve seen had reviews like “Gets stuck on everything, ” and “bent easily.”) I think my fiancé prefers the idea of some kind of stone, but I’m open!

I don’t think I’ve seen a poll this close! Lol

I voted for #4. I love your sapphire ering, it’s exquisite. With such a ring it needs a wedding band that compliments it. Tough choice though.

Thank you! I love it :-). It’s not to everyone’s taste, but it’s perfect for me!
I’m leaning towards one of the channel bands I think. 🙂
