I have a similar question, I’m getting married beginning january but I’ll be getting married in a courthouse. I’m not to sure if there’s going to be snow or not and since it’s not going to be for a whole lot of time outside+inside that I’ll be in the shoes do you think it should be alright to wear heels? I don’t particularly want to have to wear boots and then change when I get inside.

ceimi:  I think that depends entirely on the weather in your area in January.

I’ve bought a pair of heeled winter shoes for the time I’m outside, as there’s no way I’m going to risk wearing leather bottomed heels outdoors in winter. That said, the weather can be snowy and wintery, or it can be damp and dreich, so I wanted to play it safe.
